Latham students attend school in the Unified School District 205. Bluestem (USD 205) has one elementary school and one Jr High/High School. Students can participate in FCA, dance, debate, football, and many more activities.
With a population of 138, Latham offers a lot of space for residents. The commute to Wichita is convenient for when you want to spend the day at the Towne East Mall or other fun attractions.
Downtown Wichita is less than an hour away. Augusta is a 30 minute drive away. Latham is 10 minutes south of highway 400.

Augusta City Lake
The Augusta City Lake located in the northwest area of town is nearly 265 acres. Citizens and visitors can enjoy fishing, picnicking, feeding ducks and geese, and sailboating; or simply sit, relax, and take in the beautiful view. The City Lake is the place to be on the 4th of July to enjoy the fireworks display.
